We fund named, finishable work — a well drilled, a roof repaired, a teacher hired — chosen by the community that needs it and carried out with a partner on the ground.

In memory of Kamran Syed
Kamran loved being outdoors, and he chose Physical Therapy because it put him directly in the work of easing someone's pain. He returned to his creator at as a young adult.
Rather than let his dream of helping others end, his family and friends built this foundation to carry it forward — funding the basic needs of water, food, shelter and education that let people and communities help themselves, while looking for a realistic path to self-sufficiency alongside them.
We do not run programs ourselves. We collaborate with individuals, families, orphanages and other nonprofits — domestic and international — to understand what a community actually needs, then provide guidance and funding to meet it.
Families, orphanage staff and local nonprofit partners tell us what is needed before we decide anything.
Work is done alongside other 501(c)(3) organizations, under the expenditure responsibility rules that govern our grants.
Funds hire the driller, the builder, the teacher — named work with a finish line, not a general fund.

Governance & transparency
All activities are conducted in collaboration with other section 501(c)(3) organizations. Distributions to, or for the benefit of, individuals are limited to those who are part of a charitable class, as that term is defined by the IRS. You can read the IRS's own explanation here: irs.gov — Meaning of "charitable class".
Any distribution made to a nonprofit organization that is not itself exempt under section 501(c)(3) is made in accordance with the expenditure responsibility guidelines set out in Rev. Rul. 68-489.
All of the organization's efforts and funds are devoted to these charitable and educational activities.
